There are moments that change everything. One such moment was the German Design Award Gold for our magnetic jacket. For us, this award is not only recognition for outstanding design, but also a significant step towards a more inclusive and accessible future.
The German Design Award is one of the most prestigious design awards worldwide. Presented by the German Design Council , it recognizes not only aesthetic excellence but also functional and socially relevant products. This award honors designs that actively shape our future and set standards – and that's exactly what we see in our jacket: a design that not only makes everyday life easier for the little ones but can also break down barriers.
Marie: “ This award means a lot to me. As a designer, I believe Design is not an end in itself – it must serve people: through practical use and as a tool for change . Our magnetic buttons, which we developed in a fantastic collaboration with Fidlock, make getting dressed easier for everyone – whether for children, people with disabilities or simply for stressful everyday life.
Christin: "For me personally, this award means even more. As a mother of a child with disabilities , I know how important it is to create solutions that enable everyone to live independently. Our magnetic jacket shows that design can be an important part of the solution."
