Christin from Joni Studio:
Some of you probably know that I'm a big advocate for inclusion. One of the main reasons is that my youngest son suffered a prenatal stroke, resulting in hemiplegia.
This of course makes many things in everyday life more difficult - but thanks to our jackets with magnetic closures, putting on a jacket is great, even with one hand!
Another big challenge was cycling – unfortunately, a regular bike is out of the question for him. I tried out many training wheels, tinkered with things, and researched them. At the Rehab Fair, I found Hase Bikes – the solution!
Marc from Hase Bikes:
Like JoniStudio, we are committed to enabling children with and without disabilities to lead independent lives. Since 1994, Hase Bikes has been developing solutions in Germany that enable people of all ages and with different needs to ride bicycles. Our tandems, for example, offer the option of transporting visually impaired people. Our special adult bikes are equipped with shoulder steering, hand drive, single-sided drive, and many other adaptations. The Trix and Trets, our children's and youth tricycles, have an aid number and can be purchased through health insurance. They can also be easily converted into trailers, allowing children to be pulled along by a two-wheeler. Here, too, we consider the individual requirements of various disabilities.
In addition to developing our products in Germany, we place great importance on promoting integration and inclusion within our company. Together, we create mobility and the joy of cycling for everyone – regardless of individual circumstances.
At Joni Studio and Hase Bikes, we believe that every child has the right to adventure and independence—whether with or without disabilities. Our specially designed jackets and bikes are more than just products: They are keys to freedom, safety, and unlimited fun!
There is also another great thing they have in common:
WE BOTH USE MAGNETIC CLOSURES! :)
