Did you know that I (Christin) am also very involved in volunteer work besides Joni Studio? For example, I'm also the chair of my city's disability advisory board, and from the very beginning, I've had a very big goal in mind: more inclusive playgrounds and play equipment! And what can I say - after a year of discussions, planning, and searching for financial resources, the day finally arrived... Three swings were installed at our playgrounds! I was even able to inaugurate the swing with my son and give an interview:
"Accessible playgrounds were one of the reasons I got involved with the Disability Advisory Board. For some time now, my son hasn't been able to swing at our playground around the corner. He's too big for the baby swing, and unfortunately, the regular swings aren't working yet. This is exactly the issue for many older children with disabilities – so I'm very happy that we now have several inclusive swings, making swinging possible for everyone."
